Surge Academy is an all-boys Christian private school in Hollywood, Florida with the sole mission to mold and shape the lives of our students, making them servants first.  We are seeking students who want a wholesome Christian environment in which to learn, need an alternative to public schools who offer cookie cutter curriculum, those needing strong mentorship and character development for their youth and boys who participate in interscholastic athletics.
Our mission is to ensure that we begin equipping them to be successful beyond their secondary school education. Surge Academy was founded in July of 2019 under the leadership of the Board of Directors of Hope Family and Community Services, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization run by the leadership of the Hope Church of Christ, Alvin L. Daniels, Jr. is the senior minister.

OUR MISSION We want to ensure that our students realize that they must adopt the attitude of a servant, the same as Jesus Christ (Matthew 20:28)

WHAT DOES SURGE MEAN? Surge is an acronym for Serving Unashamedly Reflecting Godly Examples. Our mission is to give each student an appreciation for the pursuit of the highest level of academic success and translate that into a life of service. We have all been afforded grace, the gift of life, and we must in turn return that grace to others. In exchange, God will reward us with a life of favor.

Our pursuit of success in the classroom is an indication of the gratitude we understand we must have for our stewardship. We can then display our love for God through service, which we do without shame knowing that this is why we have been created (to please God). In so doing, we will be afforded God’s favor and lead a life filled with purpose and not filled with selfish ambition. This will allow us to transform everything we touch; a surge (a sudden powerful and upward movement) will always ignite any area needing change.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION: We have been tremendously blessed with resources, one of the best resources we have is space. Our 55,000 square foot facility provides an excellent learning environment. We want to use this to serve the community and provide an education alternative that incorporates our Christian faith in the building up of young men and giving them a heart for the Lord. One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism.

ACCREDITATION: We have begun the process of accreditation with Cognia and expect to have it in 12 months.
